I hve geard many people, especially rich people say that money can't make you happy.. Well, hard to say cause i've never had money. Basic security could be nice. So id say yes, women do like rich guys.. some for selfish reason, some of secure the living..

Do women like rich men? Sure but it's not everything. It helps but so does compatibility and similar interest. Certainly most women won't give a second look to a poor man. I would think most women want a guy who's trying and has potential, good personality and of course a sense of humor goes a long way too.

`The real question should be .... Do you like him BECAUSE he is a millionaire, or, do you like him because he is who he is and just happens to be a millionaire. Is his wealth a bonus or a dealbreaker? I've met millionaires who think their money is their best asset and use it as such like a bait. Now, if the man uses his money to lure women, is he lacking in the qualities I truely search for? Yes. I suppose, for some women, they feel that the money can make it bareable to be with him ... how shallow is that? And, for some of the millionaire men, they feel their money can be their net to hold on to a woman.... equally sad. In either scenario, it won't last long. Hence, I can understand why most millionaire men are far more cautious. And, believe me, Goldiggers are part of both sexes.
For me? As I say in my profile .... I'm looking for that one man, the compliment to my life. Searching the singles world can be frustrating to say the least. I do have some experience in this endeavor. When it comes down to it, when I drift into sleep in the arms of the man I love and adore .... it won't be the 6000 count egyptian sheets we lay on that gives my heart the comfort of belonging ... it will be the arms that hold me and the voice that says .... sweet dreams my love .... I suppose money can buy love ... but is it the kind of love your heart needs? His wealth, for me, should only be a bonus .... the real asset is the man and who he is inside, his heart, his mind .....
Personally, and this might seem shallow, but I've dated men with nothing .... men who found it advantageous to be with a woman who had some money ... a means of support .... they had no intention of contributing to the support of the relationship .... it didn't last ... So, I am way OVER being the support .....
It's a good topic

Personally, I have only ever been attracted to men for who they ARE and not for what they have. Having said that, I did marry the one who was stable and had a solid career - even though we were by no means rich. I have never had a long term relationship with anyone wealthy, but have dated a few. Because of "lack of chemistry" (on my part), I wasn't interested in having a relationship with them, even though they were very well off. I have always been attracted to intelligent, witty, artistic, "hip" types but you know what? It's a DRAG being poor, there I said it! I would love to fall in love, be loved by the kind of person I have always been attracted to but with the extra fun and security of wealth. I would hope that being cool, spiritual, kind, wise AND rich are not mutually exclusive and that money isn't the impetus for a good life. I would love some financial abundance however, even to just learn from someone rich how they accomplished that.
