i've come to realize that people don't care one iota about who you are, they just want to see what they can take from you. i still do all i do and not one thing will ever benefit me. i stay in the shadows because i don't need the adulation, actually i'd rather no one know anything came from me. anyway...i'm going to speak to the reality in people...

i'm tired of looking to foundations claiming to want to change the world by changing large systems, but somehow believe ten thousand dollars in pieces will accomplish anything. they want their names engraved in stone and their faces on buildings just so they can say, "look at me!"

so here it is...do you have seven million dollars, sir or madam millionaire or sir or madam billionaire, to change the next 5 years of the lives of 95 young people who have been invisible most of their lives? do you? even if you did, i'm sure you're first thought would be, "what am i getting out of it?" what someone whose bank account balance can feed a nation does with their money outside of pretending to care about others is beyond me. call me cynical. i don't care. i don't believe people with money care enough about what lies outside of their own space to do anything but smile, look pretty, pretend to care, and try to figure out how they're going to acquire more money.

so do you have millions, billions, trillions???? take a look at touchstone7 dot org and try to figure out how one person can try to do this. people raise money for the most idiotic things, but this gets in-kind donations of clothes and bags. ridiculous. and no, every little bit does not help. it's the "little bit" that makes people believe things are better when they're not even close. even a 501(c)(3) designation means nothing. well, you won't find me attached to the page. i'm purposely not on any social media platform, not even the one attached to ts7.
